A day after being questioned by the Enforcement Directorate in the Gurugram land deal case, businessman Robert Vadra said on Wednesday that he is “very strong for all.”
He also posted a political cartoon, taking a sarcasm on the Bharatiya Janata Party and alleged that ‘political vengeance’ and ‘espionage’ were being done against him and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
However, according to sources, Vadra has been called for questioning again today (16 April). Vadra has said that he is innocent and ‘Truth will win.’
Vadra wrote on Facebook, “I am ready for any kind of unfair pressure. I believe in truth and the truth will win.”
His remarks came after his claim that his “birthday week service” has been banned. Targeting the government indirectly, Vadra said that he would continue to meet the basic needs of the people until he is stopped from speaking against the “injustice” to the minorities.
Vadra said, “The service of my birthday week has been stopped for a few days. I will continue the plan to provide food to the elderly and give gifts to the children of different fields, when the government is stopping me from doing good work and is saying about their unjust behavior towards minorities or the desire and discussion in my politics.”
After hours of interrogation by the Enforcement Directorate in the Gurugram land case, Vadra alleged that the federal agencies were being misused. He said that he has nothing to hide.
Robert Vadra came out of the ED office after hours of questioning in the Gurugram land case. He said, “All the questions I have answered earlier are being answered again. There is no issue. I have nothing to hide. Everything has been answered; everything will be answered again.”
He said that in 2019 he also handed over more than 20,000 documents to the agency, and he described the summons as “inspired by politics”.
Vadra said, “23,000 documents were submitted in 2019. The case they are asking about me is a 20 -year -old case. It is inspired by politics. When we do a transaction we follow all rules and regulations. The ruling government always misuses the agency. They can ask me questions as much as I want to hide.”
