Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, while attending the Dawat-e-Iftar in Kodangal, claimed that he was the first person to raise the issue of Waqf Bill in the state “, even AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi had not raised the issue.
CM Reddy said during Iftar on Saturday, “I am the first person to raise the issue of Waqf Bill, even before AIMIM leader Owaisi. The Congress party has been providing a lot of opportunities to the Muslim community for a long time.”
He further explained how funds have been sanctioned for the development of Muslim community in Kodangal constituency.
The Chief Minister said, “We have approved 25 percent of the MLA fund for the development of Muslims in Kodangal assembly constituency. The people of Kodangal will get everything from one of my signatures and they do not need to seek the help of others. I appeal to people to write a message on a small piece of paper and it is enough to deliver everything for me.”
During his visit to Kodangal, CM Reddy also addressed the district level preparation meeting of “Jai Bapu, Jai Bhima, Jai Constitution Campaign” at his residence.
During his address, he did Dr. BR of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Criticized the comments made on Ambedkar and promised significant investment for the development of Kodangal.
Reddy said, “Amit Shah spoke abusively against Ambedkar in Parliament. The Union Minister’s comment supports Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination. There was a social change in the country under the influence of the Indian Constitution written by Ambedkar.”
Highlighting Ambedkar’s growing influence, he said, “People are worshiping Ambedkar as an invisible God. In every village, he is worshiped by installing the idol of Ambedkar. Meetings are being held in the entire state to protest against such a great leader and to show Ambedkar’s spirit.”
Addressing the politics of the state, Reddy, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief K.K. Taking a dig at Chandrashekhar Rao, KCR said, “KCR is not participating in the assembly session only to avoid finding a mistake during the debate. Those who are participating in the assembly are lacking basic knowledge and are not ready to learn.”
Reddy claimed that the opposition was trying to destabilize Kodangal.
Giving assurance of long -term commitment to the region, he said, “The Chief Minister’s chair will be for Kodangal for ten years. Let us make significant development of Kodangal during this period. The opposition is trying to prevent land acquisition by provoking some people and created a ruckus. It is my responsibility to give two jobs to the families of the people whose land has gone due to the establishment of industries.”
