Kaithal, September 11 (IANS). BJP, Congress, Aam Aadmi Party and other regional political parties have put in their full strength in the Haryana assembly elections. Many big names filed their nominations on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Congress leader Randeep Surjewala spoke to IANS.
If Congress forms the government in Haryana, will he be a contender for the CM post? In response to this question, he said, ‘It is not bad to have ambition in politics and only then can a person move forward in politics’ but ambition cannot be bigger than the party discipline. Our goal cannot be to get the post.
Randeep Surjewala said, according to the Mann Ki Baat of the people of the state, it seems that Congress will win more than 70 seats in this assembly election. He said, the victory figure can also reach 80. If this happens then no one needs to be surprised.
On the alliance of Aam Aadmi Party and Congress, he said, I am an ordinary worker. The decision to form an alliance with any party is taken by the top leadership of the party and Rahul Gandhi. He said, there is no need for an alliance in Haryana. Because, Congress is forming the government on its own in Haryana.
Let us tell you that there was a discussion going on about the alliance of Congress and Aam Aadmi Party in Haryana.
But ultimately the seat sharing formula could not be resolved between the two parties.
Recently AAP leader Raghav Chadha had said, we want an alliance and soon something will be said in this regard.
But, the way Aam Aadmi Party has released the list of its candidates for the elections, it is clear from this that Aam Aadmi Party and Congress will contest the elections separately in Haryana.
Voting for the 90 assembly seats of Haryana Assembly is to be held on October 5. The results will be declared on October 8.
