Maharashtra Minister Nitesh Rane has claimed that Bangladeshi citizens and Rohingya living in India are a major concern in terms of security and it is an attempt to Islamization of the society. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader also said that illegal migrants should not be allowed to stay in India. Rane told reporters here on Wednesday, “Illegal Bangladeshi and Rohingyas staying here are a big threat to security. This is an attempt to Islamization of our society. Previous incidents show that this is a serious threat to Mumbai and the country. ‘
He said that BJP leaders including Mangal Prabhat Lodha and Kirit Somaiya are working to protect the interests of Mumbai. The minister said that illegal migrants should not be allowed to stay in India and they should be sent to Pakistan and Bangladesh. Rane accused him of being opposed to Hindutva, reacting to the remarks of Supriya Sule, leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) to criticize the ‘dress code’ at the Siddhivinayak temple.
He claimed, “Sule is ‘allergic’ to Hindutva. His response was required. Has Sule ever said something about Muslims to make people radical, apply dress code in mosques, torture on women or ruin the lives of Hindu women? His favorite subject is to hate Hindus. Other leaders of Sule and Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) are similar. ”Rane appreciated the decision taken by the Siddhivinayak Mandir Trust regarding the ‘Dress Code’, where wearing short and open clothes has been banned. He said that other temples should also follow it.
