The depression over northeast Madhya Pradesh is moving slowly north-northwestwards at a speed of 8 kmph, today, lying about 60 km northeast of Damoh, MP, 90 km south of Khajuraho, 100 km west-southwest of Satna and 190 km southeast of Jhansi in UP. It is very likely to move slowly north-northwestwards during next 24 hours.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy to very heavy rains are expected in eastern Madhya Pradesh from 12 to 14 September and in western Madhya Pradesh from 12 to 15 September.
