New Delhi, 4 May (IANS). Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday. Air Force Chief AP Singh reached the Prime Minister’s residence on Sunday afternoon. Here he met the Prime Minister for about 40 minutes and informed him on important topics.
Earlier on Saturday, Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi met the Prime Minister. Currently these meetings are very important. Especially it becomes even more important when Pakistan has been violating the ceasefire along the Line of Control for the last 10 days.
Since the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April, security forces have been tightening the terrorists. 26 innocent tourists were killed by terrorists in this terrorist attack. After the terrorist attack, Prime Minister Modi held an important meeting with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Chiefs of the three armies, Chief of Defense Staff and National Security Advisor to review the entire situation. During this time, the government had decided to give an open exemption to the army to deal with the situation.
After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the army has laid siege to the area and tightened the terrorists. Due to this, Pakistan is violating the ceasefire along the Line of Control. Pakistan has been firing across the Line of Control for the last ten days. In view of this situation, the meeting between the Prime Minister and the Chief of Air Force is considered very important.
According to the army, firing was also carried out from Pakistani military posts during the night of 3-4 May. The Indian Army immediately responded to this firing. Pakistani Army posts have firing from across the Line of Control in the vicinity of Kupwara, Baramulla, Poonch, Rajouri, Mendhar, Naushera, Sunderbani and Akhnoor in Jammu and Kashmir with small weapons across the Line of Control. The Indian Army immediately and accurately responded.
While Pakistan is continuously firing along the Line of Control, on the other hand it is also doing cyber attack on institutions associated with the Indian Army. Pakistan has so far caused cyber attacks on the website related to educational institutions, medical institutions and welfare related to the Indian Army. However, already cautious cyber security agencies thwarted Pakistan’s intentions.
