The horrific incident with a young man in Bengaluru has created a stir on social media. The young man posted on the redit that booking a rapido bike taxi outside the metro station was so heavy to him that many auto drivers surrounded him and even threatened to beat him. The matter also reached the police, but the police response shook the young man even more.
Uproar started as soon as Rapido was booked
As soon as the young man got out of the metro station and booked Rapido, an auto driver forcibly stopped him and said, “Don’t book, I will take it.” When the young man ignored him, the auto driver got angry and he called the other auto drivers present there. All the people shouted together and expressed their anger why he was taking a bike taxi instead of auto.
When the young man protested in response to abuses, the case deteriorated
The young man said that when the matter increased, he angrily showed him the middle finger, which later hurt him. Seeing this, an auto driver stopped the path of the Rapido bike and started threatening it directly. In a short time some other people also came there and surrounded them all around and started scaring them.
Threatened to kill
According to the post, the auto drivers threatened that they will “bite your hands”, “Life will make hell” and “will not let you drive in this city.” He even said that “We are a policeman, there is no fear of DC-SP, we are local and we can do whatever they want.” The young man was surprised to hear these things and immediately called the police helpline 112.
Police came but her attitude was shocking
The police reached the spot, but according to the young man, the police first scolded him for showing him the middle finger. Apart from this, instead of convincing the auto drivers, a policeman even said – “Leave two kills.” With this, the young man felt that the police and auto drivers had already acquainted.

When the young man shared information about this incident on the redit, people got angry on social media. Some people suggested that the incident should be shared with Twitter (X) and major news channels to reach the administration and strict action can be taken on such incidents. The matter is now hot and questions are being raised on the criminal tendency of auto drivers in the city.
