Kolkata, 12 December (IANS). The main opposition party Congress on Tuesday brought a no-confidence motion against the country’s Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar. Bharatiya Janata Party MLA in West Bengal Agnimitra Paul condemned it and also reacted to Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee expressing her intention to chair the ‘India’ block.
The BJP leader said, “This Indi alliance and the Congress party do not want India to move forward, that is why they are not respecting the Constitution today. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar protects the Constitution every moment, but today these people do not like it.” It seems no. Crores of rupees are being spent to run the Parliament, but today those people who make big statements regarding the Constitution are violating the same Constitution. These people are doing. They insult the country along with the forces sitting abroad. They are always in opposition and are trying to stop the proceedings of the Parliament, while crores of rupees are being spent from the public’s taxes. Indians are seeing that these people are misusing public money. The answer will be given after five years, like in Haryana and Maharashtra.
He further said, “After the defeat in Maharashtra and Haryana, blaming EVMs is baseless. The public has lost faith in the Congress party and ‘India’ block parties. People now know that there is only one party and leader, Narendra Modi. And Bharatiya Janata Party can take India safely and forward.”
After this, when TMC chief Mamata Banerjee expressed her intention to chair the ‘India’ block, he said, “We have already said that the alliance partners of the ‘India’ block are aimed at supporting Narendra Modi and the Indian people in the 2024 elections. Janata Party had to be removed so that they can become the Prime Minister. These people are afraid of only one thing, they are involved in corruption, the public money and the tax paying people. Money has been stolen. Today these people are not able to handle their states. In Mamata Banerjee’s state, the safety of women is in danger.
