Patna, 29 April (IANS). Mangal Pandey, a minister in the Bihar government, directly targeted Pakistan over the Pahalgam terror attack. He said that the Government of India is taking decisive action against terrorism under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and whatever conspirators are behind this attack, they will not be left at any cost.
He said in a conversation with IANS that preliminary investigation is giving clear indications that Pakistan’s protection is involved in this attack and India has decided to postpone the Indus Water Agreement in response.
Minister Mangal Pandey said that Pakistan should now understand that it cannot escape by promoting terrorism from its land against India. He said that this is not the time when India was silent. Today there is a decisive leadership Prime Minister in the country, who has the ability to find and punish terrorists and his supporters in any corner of the world. He said that postponing the Indus Water Agreement is a strategic step, which will affect the water supply to Pakistan and its government and the people there will have to bear the brunt of it.
He also said that whatever political or diplomatic steps should be taken on this issue, they are being taken under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that he himself cannot make any personal comment on this subject, but said that the feelings of the people of India are very hurt about this terrorist attack and the Prime Minister has strongly placed these sentiments on the global stage. He reiterated that this time not only the direct responsible people of the attack will be punished, but also all those who are involved or supported in any form behind such incidents.
