Indo-Pak flag meeting to be held on the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, Brigadier rank will be included

Poonch, 21 February (IANS). India and Pakistan will hold a flag meeting on Friday to deal with the increasing incidents of ceasefire violations. The meeting will be held at the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Brigadier level officials of both sides will attend the flag meeting at Chakan Da Bagh LoC Crossing Point in Poonch district. For India, Commander of Poonch Brigade and two Pak Brigade Commander of Pakistani Army will participate in the flag meeting.

In the flag meeting for the past several days, the tension arising out of the firing by the Pakistani Army along the Line of Control for the past several days, respecting the ceasefire along the Line of Control and maintaining peace and harmony along the Line of Control from both sides Efforts will be made to agreed.

The ceasefire was declared in 2021 by the forces of India and Pakistan. Due to this ceasefire agreement, the tension along the Line of Control decreased considerably and the normal situation returned to hundreds of families on both sides of the border.

However, two soldiers were injured in Poonch and Rajouri districts in recent incidents of firing from across the Line of Control.

On February 11, two soldiers, including a captain, were killed in an improvised explosion (IED) explosion in Akhnoor sector of the Line of Control in Jammu district.

Officials said the IED was imposed by the terrorists. The Indian Army gave a befitting reply to firing from across the Line of Control in Poonch district. Reports said that the Indian retaliation led to casualties beyond Pakistan beyond the Line of Control.

Intelligence reports say that traditional infiltration in Jammu and Kashmir is still open due to low snowfall in this winter and trying to enter the Indian territory across the Line of Terrorist Control.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah presided over two security review meetings regarding Jammu and Kashmir in New Delhi. During those meetings, Amit Shah spoke about the elimination of terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir.

At the same time, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also recently presided over two security meetings and took stock of the current situation. The Lieutenant Governor ordered the police and security forces to end the terrorist system by targeting terrorists.

Last year, terrorists have been trying to increase their activities since the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections with peaceful and people participating in the Union Territory last year. After the terrorist activities accelerated, security forces launched an aggressive campaign against terrorists.
