Mir said, “Rahul Gandhi will reach Jammu and Kashmir on September 4 and here he will address two election rallies. One rally will be in Jammu and the other rally will be in Kashmir Valley.”

Earlier on Saturday, Congress released the list of its 40 star campaigners for the first phase of Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. This list includes the names of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, CPP Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi.

Voting for the first phase in Jammu and Kashmir will be held on September 18. The Congress party released a list of 40 star campaigners for the first phase on Saturday. The list released by Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal includes the names of Jairam Ramesh, Ambika Soni, Ajay Maken, Salman Khurshid and Kanhaiya Kumar.
