Jammu and Kashmir: Beneficiary of Vishwakarma Yojana said – ‘Benefits were received under the leadership of PM Modi’

जम्मू-कश्मीर : विश्वकर्मा योजना की लाभार्थी ने कहा -

Jammu, Sep 17 (IANS) On the completion of one year of PM Modi’s ‘Vishwakarma Yojana’ in poll-bound Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, IANS spoke to a beneficiary of the scheme who said it has benefited him a lot.

Rajni Devi, a resident of Jammu, is a beneficiary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitious ‘Vishwakarma Yojana’. While talking to IANS, she shared her experience and said that she is getting a lot of benefits from this scheme of the central government.

Rajni Devi, who works as a seamstress, was the first to congratulate Narendra Modi on his birthday and prayed for his long life. She said, “We have benefited from the Vishwakarma Yojana. I have been doing sewing work for a long time, but now we are getting more benefits from this scheme.”

She further said, “I have been taking advantage of the ‘Vishwakarma Yojana’ for a long time. No Prime Minister had started such schemes before. It is only under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi that we have started getting this benefit and we are satisfied with this support.”

Let us tell you that the main objective of PM Modi’s ‘Vishwakarma Yojana’ is to help those craftsmen who make their living through traditional skills. Under this, financial assistance is provided to blacksmiths, potters, carpenters, barbers and other people who make their living through handicrafts and crafts.

Under the ‘Vishwakarma Yojana’, there is a provision of loan up to one lakh rupees and on proper payment, a further loan of up to two lakh rupees is provided to the beneficiary.

Let us tell you that the first phase of voting is to be held on Wednesday in the electoral state of Jammu and Kashmir. After this, the second phase of voting is to be held on 25 September and the third phase on 1 October. The results of all 90 assembly seats will be declared simultaneously on 8 October.
