Udhampur, September 10 (IANS). Jammu and Kashmir BJP state vice-president Pawan Kumar Khajuria has not been given a ticket by the party. While talking to IANS on Tuesday, he said that he will contest the election as an independent.
In the electoral state of Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP’s state vice-president Pawan Kumar Khajuria was not given a ticket by the party. He is angry over this. He is going to file his nomination as an independent candidate on Wednesday. He will file his nomination for Udhampur East along with his supporters.
Talking to IANS, Pawan Kumar Khajuria said that I was a normal worker but the BJP nominated a candidate who worked against the BJP candidate in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections.
He said, there is a lot of anger among the party workers for not making him a candidate for the assembly elections. A large number of workers are saying that they will not support a candidate who has worked against the party in the Lok Sabha elections.
Pawan Kumar Khajuria said that the workers have decided to field me in the assembly elections, we have agreed to this. On Wednesday at 11 am, we will gather at Nand Palace and hold a huge rally and file nomination for the assembly elections from East Udhampur.
Let us tell you that voting in the electoral state of Jammu and Kashmir will be held in three phases, voting for the first phase will be held on September 18, for the second phase on September 25 and for the last phase on October 1. The results of all 90 seats will be declared simultaneously on October 8.
