Jammu Kashmir Election 2024 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. Addressing an election rally in Katra, he said that these elections are for the development of Jammu and Kashmir. Let us tell you that the first phase of elections for the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir has been completed.
While addressing the public meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that BJP is committed to building a prosperous future for Jammu and Kashmir. He said that we have connected Jammu and Kashmir to the stream of development. He attacked Congress and said that it is their old policy to sell hatred in the shop of love. They increased the gap between Jammu and Kashmir for years. He said that Congress has discriminated against Jammu and Kashmir.
It is worth noting that this is the first assembly election being held after the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Voting is to be held in three phases for a total of 90 assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir. The first phase of voting was completed on September 18, while the second phase of elections will be held on September 25. The third and final phase of elections will be held on October 5 and the counting of votes will be held on October 8.
