Jammu Kashmir Election : After the announcement of assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, the political turmoil has increased. The leaders of political parties have started making big claims. Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Jammu and Kashmir, where he has released the manifesto of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a press conference while releasing the BJP’s manifesto. During this, he remembered the sacrifices of Pandit Premanath Dogra and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. He said that Jammu and Kashmir has always been a part of India. He said that during the 10-year tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jammu and Kashmir has progressed towards tourism. He said that work has been done to preserve the cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir.
Article 370 has become history
Amit Shah also mentioned Article 370 and 35A. He said that Article 370 has now become history and can never come back. He said that it was Article 370 that put stones in the hands of the youth. He mentioned the development work done in Jammu and Kashmir regarding education. He said that earlier the children of Jammu and Kashmir used to go outside to study, and now people from outside are coming to Jammu and Kashmir to study and contributing to the development of the nation.
Reservation mentioned
Referring to reservation, he said that the Narendra Modi government has increased the reservation for OBC, SC and ST in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that Gujjars, Bakarwals and Pahari people were not given reservation earlier, now they are also being given reservation. During this, he also targeted the opposition parties. He said that the reservation of Gujjars, Bakarwals and Pahari people will never be allowed to end, no matter what happens.
