Jammu Kashmir Election 2024 : The Bharatiya Janata Party released its fourth list of six candidates for the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir BJP President Ravinder Raina has been made the candidate from Nowshera. Let us tell you that before this the Bharatiya Janata Party has released three lists.

Bharatiya Janata Party’s National General Secretary Arun Singh has released the list of six candidates for the second phase of Jammu Kashmir Assembly elections. Jammu Kashmir BJP President Ravinder Raina has been fielded from Nowshera Assembly seat. At the same time, Eng Aijaz Hussain from Lal Chowk, Asif Raza from Idgah, Dr. Ali Mohammad Mir from Khansahib, Zahid Hussain from Charar-e-Sharif and Vibodh Gupta from Rajouri (ST) have been fielded.

Names of 51 candidates have been announced so far

Let us tell you that BJP had announced the names of 29 candidates in its third list of candidates. This included the names of 10 candidates from the second phase and 19 candidates from the third phase. The second list included the names of one candidate and the first list included the names of 15 candidates. BJP has announced the names of a total of 51 candidates so far. Although BJP had first announced a list of 44 candidates, it was withdrawn after protests.

Names of prominent leaders missing

The names of many prominent leaders are missing from the list released by BJP. The names of veteran leaders like Dr. Nirmal Singh and Kavindra Gupta are not included in this list. In such a situation, questions are arising whether BJP will send these leaders to the assembly by giving them tickets or will give them some other responsibility, only time will tell.

Elections will be held in three phases

Let us tell you that Article 370, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir, was removed by the central government. With this, the status of a full state was abolished and it was made a union territory. After this decision of the Center, elections are being held here for the first time. The Election Commission has announced elections in three phases for the 90 assembly seats here. The first phase of voting will be held on September 18, the second phase on September 25. While the third phase of voting was earlier scheduled to be held on October 1, but the Election Commission changed this date, now the third phase of elections will be held here on October 5. At the same time, the results of the assembly elections were to come on October 4, but will come on October 8.
