Meerut News: Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and Minister of State for Ministry of Education Jayant Chaudhary said that Swavalambini Women’s Entrepreneurship Program is an initiative, which aims to empower young women with the necessary skills and confidence to establish their business. We want to move beyond the programs that list women as beneficiaries of schemes. We want to move towards the development initiative led by women and this is also the concept of our Prime Minister.

Beginning of Swavalambini

He said that the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) introduced the women’s entrepreneurship program Swavalambini at Netaji Subhashchand Bose Auditorium of Chaudhary Charan Singh University in collaboration with NITI Aayog, which is an important step towards strengthening women entrepreneurship in India. This initiative empowers women students at Higher Education Institutions (HEI) by providing entrepreneurship mindsets, resources and mentorships required to successfully create and enhance their venture.
