Ranchi, 6 December (IANS). Jharkhand’s newly elected Education Minister Ramdas Soren had a special conversation with IANS on Friday. During this, he pledged to fulfill his responsibility and said that whatever problems come up, they will be solved on priority basis.
Ramdas Soren said that he will fulfill the responsibility entrusted to him sincerely. At present he has not had any meeting with the department, but a departmental meeting will be organized in the coming days, where all the issues will be discussed. In the meeting, problems related to the field of education will be reviewed, in which the problem of drop-out in schools and the issue of reopening of schools closed by the previous government will be prominent.
The Education Minister said that he will fulfill the responsibility given to him sincerely. The problems that come up after the meeting with the department will be resolved on priority basis. We will ensure that work is done for the public good. During the departmental meeting, information will be collected as to which areas have more problem of drop-out and which schools were closed. After this, through a review meeting, a decision will be taken as to how to reopen those schools and provide educational opportunities to the children.
