On Rahul Gandhi’s apology, Manjhi said, “He is on the right path. His coalition partners do not treat the Scheduled Caste community well. They persecute Scheduled Castes somewhere.”
He further said, “If he (Rahul Gandhi) is with such a party, it is not a good thing. We were also in Congress. If the Congress does not get a single seat today, they should contest elections independently. After this, the people of Bihar and India will understand and support the renunciation of the Congress.”
Rahul Gandhi said in an event on Friday (July 25, 2025) that I have been in politics since 2004 and I am 21 years old. When I turn back and confirm where I did right and where there is a shortage, two-three big issues emerge. OBC problems remain hidden.
He said that if I had known about your issues and problems at that time, I would have got the caste census done at the same time. This is my fault, which I am going to improve now. However, it was good in a way, because if I had done a caste census at that time, the situation today would not have happened.
