Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju on Monday said before the discussion on Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha that when Pakistan crossed the red lines taken by India, terrorist camps were targeted.
Rijiju said in a post on X, “Discussion on Operation Sindoor will begin from today. When Ravana crossed the Laxman Rekha, Lanka was burnt. When Pakistan crossed the red line drawn by India, terrorist camps had to face fire.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is going to start a special discussion on India’s strong, successful and decisive ‘Operation Sindoor’ in response to a terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
US President Donald Trump’s claim by the aggressive opposition is expected to surround the government on the claim that Trump mediated to stop the nuclear war between India and Pakistan, and agreed to the “ceasefire”.
India has made it clear that preventing firing and military activity on Pakistan, at the behest of Islamabad, was stopped after “direct contact” between the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of the two countries.
