Raipur, August 30 (IANS). Chhattisgarh Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal has demanded an apology from Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) leader Simranjit Singh Mann for making controversial remarks on Kangana Ranaut. Along with this, he has also asked the state government to take strict action by registering an FIR against him. Criticizing the statement of the Akali Dal leader, he said that because of such people, crimes against women are increasing in the country and state. Such people display their poor mentality with their cheap remarks.
The Health Minister said, “The former MP should apologize. This shows his disgusting mentality. It is because of such people that crime is increasing in the society, which needs to be curbed.”
He said, “The government should take strict action by filing FIR against such people. Apart from this, it should also be ensured that no politician dares to make such controversial statements again.”
Let us tell you that recently actress Kangana Ranaut had alleged that women were raped during the farmers’ movement. After her allegation, Simranjit Singh Mann gave a controversial statement about the actress. Taking the name of the actress, he said that she has a lot of experience of rape. She has got this experience from her films. After this statement of his, the political uproar intensified.
In this regard, Kangana Ranaut while talking to IANS said, “I am getting rape threats. The people threatening me think that by doing this they will suppress my voice, but perhaps they do not know that I am not going to be scared of these threats and neither can they suppress my voice.”
Congress leader Udit Raj also reacted to the actress’ statement. He said, “This is not the first time, but Kangana has given such controversial statements before as well. The actress has even been slapped once due to her controversial statements.”
