Kannauj, September 2 (IANS). The troubles of accused Nawab Singh Yadav in the much talked about rape case of Kannauj district of Uttar Pradesh are not decreasing. The police investigating the case said that the DNA of the victim and the accused Nawab Singh has been matched, which has confirmed the rape.
Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar Anand said that the report has been received from the Forensic Science Laboratory. Nawab Singh Yadav has raped the teenager. This has been confirmed by the report of the Forensic Science Laboratory.
In fact, in UP’s Kannauj, former SP block chief Nawab Singh Yadav was arrested on charges of rape. Nawab Singh’s DNA matched with the teenager’s sample. Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar Anand gave this information while saying that the DNA report confirmed the rape. On August 12, the police arrested former SP block chief Nawab Singh Yadav for attempting to rape a teenager. At the time of the incident, the victim and the accused were in their school, Chandan Singh Mahavidyalaya.
The video of the arrest of the former block pramukh was also circulated on the internet media. In it, the victim is standing at the college gate without a top. In the video, the police reaches the room with the victim. Nawab Singh is lying on the bed inside the room. While the victim’s aunt is sitting on a chair nearby.
It is known that a woman from Tirwa tehsil area of Kannauj somehow reached Chaudhary Chandan Singh Mahavidyalaya late at night with her minor niece. Both of them stayed in a room here. During this time Nawab Singh was also present there.
It is alleged that when the woman went to the bathroom, Nawab Singh Yadav, resident of Adangapur, molested and tried to rape the teenager. Meanwhile, the teenager called UP 112 and called the police. The police arrested the SP leader from the college room. According to the police, when she entered the room, the former SP leader was in underwear.
The police interrogated and brought the aunt-niece and the accused to the police station. The victim had given a statement of rape in the court. After this, a DNA test was done. The DNA report confirmed that Nawab Singh Yadav had raped the teenager.
