New Delhi, October 6 (IANS). Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal announced the distribution of free cash in a public meeting on Sunday. He said that when your government provides facilities to the people of Delhi, the Prime Minister says that free ‘Revdis’ are being distributed, hence today he has made packets of free Revdis and brought them for distribution.
Speaking at the ‘Janata Ki Adalat’ program organized by AAP, Kejriwal said, “Today I have brought six free Revadis” and showed off a packet of Revadis from him.
He said, “On leaving this meeting, people will get a packet of six rupees each. These six free rupees include free electricity, water for the people of Delhi, free pilgrimage for the elderly, free bus travel for women, Free and excellent education for all, and free and good treatment. Every woman will get one thousand rupees in her bank account as the seventh Revdi.”
Kejriwal told the people that the packet of Revadis received today “is Prasad”. After keeping it in the temple of your home, distribute it to everyone.
He alleged that today there is no democracy in Delhi, there is ‘LG Raj’. He asked whether Bhagat Singh was hanged for the day that the British would leave and Delhi would be ruled by a Lieutenant Governor.
Kejriwal said, “I am leaving with an oath that I will give you all your rights within my life. I will make Delhi a full state. I will free Delhi from the rule of LG.”
The former chief minister said that on Saturday he saw how Saurabh Bhardwaj, a minister in the Delhi government, was lying at the feet of BJP leader Vijendra Gupta. He said that this is no small matter. If someone becomes a minister, he becomes arrogant, but “our ministers are for the people of Delhi” and they also fall at their feet.
Kejriwal said, “Saurabh Bhardwaj had not fallen at the feet of the BJP. Saurabh Bhardwaj is not an individual, but a minister elected by two crore people of Delhi. The democracy of this country had fallen at the feet of the BJP. Big shame.” The government with 62 seats is falling at the feet of BJP and begging them to save our bus marshals.
Kejriwal said that when he went to jail, the repair of Delhi’s roads stopped, maintenance of sewers was stopped at many places, free medicines and tests which had been available for eight years were stopped. He said, “Sin should not be committed out of arrogance of power. If someone dies due to lack of medicines, it will only harm the people of Delhi.”
Kejriwal said that the repair work of roads throughout Delhi has started again. Sewer cleaning will also be started soon. Free medicines and medical checkups will start again. He said that old age pension has now started.
