New Delhi, October 30 (IANS). Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar spoke to IANS on Wednesday. He responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement on Ayushman Yojana and other issues.
On Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement on Ayushman Yojana, AAP spokesperson said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lied again. Arvind Kejriwal’s health model in Delhi is better than Ayushman scheme. Delhi government spends 16 percent of the budget on health. This is a better scheme. At the same time, there is fraud in Ayushman Yojana. Its truth was also revealed in the CAG report. Where BJP leaders ate money in the name of the dead. It is a matter of shame that why should we implement such scam in our state. People of Delhi have a better health model.
Under Ayushman Yojana, free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh is available. Responding to this, AAP spokesperson said, patients are getting free medicines due to the scheme running in Delhi. The patient does not need to be admitted to the hospital. All tests are being done for free. There is no OPD facility in Ayushman Yojana. Whereas Delhi’s health model has this facility.
He further said, treatment can be done under Ayushman only for Rs 5 lakh. Whereas, in Delhi’s health model, free treatment can be provided ranging from Rs 5 to Rs 1 crore. 359 types of medicines are available for free in Delhi. 400 types of tests can be done for free. When there is such a good scheme in Delhi then why implement Ayushman Yojana in Delhi.
Congress had alleged rigging in the Haryana Assembly elections, which was rejected by the Election Commission. On this, AAP spokesperson said, the Election Commission should answer this in some detail. Because this is a very serious allegation.
