New Delhi, September 15 (IANS). Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal while addressing party workers at Aam Aadmi Party headquarters on Sunday announced his resignation from the post of CM after two days. After this, politics has heated up.
Senior Congress leader Udit Raj said that the Congress party will not answer on the issue of CM Kejriwal, it is an internal matter of the party whether he will resign or remain the Chief Minister. I believe that the motive behind this step is to get votes on the basis of sympathy.
He said that he has his own strategy as to why he is resigning. If he had to resign, he should have done so when he was going to jail. Now that he is offering his resignation at this time, there must be some reason. We cannot interfere. Our leader Rahul Gandhi had raised his voice against his imprisonment. The opposition is being harassed in this country and investigation agencies are being misused on a large scale. As far as the murder of democracy is concerned, saving the constitution is concerned, we are all together. Aam Aadmi Party is still a part of India Alliance. How much benefit Kejriwal will get from this step will be clear in the coming days.
Meanwhile, BJP MP from Delhi Yogendra Chandolia said that Kejriwal has decided to resign under pressure from the Supreme Court. The conditions imposed by the Supreme Court have tied Kejriwal’s hands and feet. Now he will make Sunita Kejriwal the Chief Minister and will himself enjoy the Sheesh Mahal. The people of Delhi have come to know about Kejriwal’s drama.
