Siddipet (Telangana), September 5 (IANS). The flood in Khammam has disrupted life. There has been a huge loss of life and property. In such a situation, Siddipet’s BRS MLA and former minister Harish Rao has set an example by helping the flood victims.
MLA Harish Rao flagged off the vehicles carrying the material from his camp office. On this occasion, Harish Rao said that Khammam and Mahabubabad have suffered heavy losses due to rain and floods. The ploughs are helping the people. Everyone should come forward and help the flood victims, this is human service.
Targeting the government’s failure, Harish Rao said that the government has completely failed to help the people affected by this tragedy. The state is ruled by demons, not the people. If the government had woken up earlier, the loss of life and property could have been reduced. He said that we are giving the salaries of BRS MLAs, MPs, MLCs to the flood victims. The leaders of BJP and other parties should come forward and help us in this work.
Harish Rao alleged that if we go to help the flood victims in Khammam, Congress workers attack us and cases are registered. But we are not afraid for humanity. Rao said, they are unable to tolerate the support we are getting. Along with this, he has demanded that those whose houses have been submerged in water should be given Rs 2 lakh.
