New Delhi, September 12 (IANS). BJP’s national spokesperson Nalin Kohli had a special conversation with IANS on Thursday. During this, he gave his reaction to the statement of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge. Actually, Mallikarjun Kharge had said that if India Alliance had got 20 more seats in the Lok Sabha elections, then those who gave the slogan of crossing 400 would have been in jail today.
Nalin Kohli said, the statement given by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on foreign soil has raised questions against the Congress party in the country. Perhaps, Mallikarjun Kharge is worried about this, that is why he has made a political attack on the government. He has raised issues like slogans in the elections. But this will not hide Rahul Gandhi’s statements and the Congress party cannot run away from giving answers.
Apart from this, Nalin Kohli also gave his reaction on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s participation in the puja program at Chief Justice DY Chandrachud’s house. He said, it is being deliberately made an issue that if the top of the judiciary and the executive meet, it is a threat to democracy. He said that it is not written anywhere in the Constitution of India that the top of the judiciary and the executive can never meet each other.
Actually, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the Ganesh Puja program at the residence of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud in Delhi on Wednesday. He posted a picture of this on the social media platform ‘X’. Now political rhetoric has intensified regarding this.
Opposition party leaders are calling this a close nexus between the judiciary and the executive and are calling it against the democracy of India. On the other hand, BJP leaders say that worshipping together is not a threat to democracy. There are many occasions where DY Chandrachud and Prime Minister Narendra Modi share the stage together.
Let us tell you that on Wednesday, the picture posted from Prime Minister Modi’s ‘X’ account read, “Attended Ganesh Puja at the residence of CJI Justice DY Chandrachud ji. May Lord Shri Ganesha bless us all with happiness, prosperity and health.”
