Bihar News Desk!!! Just before the Bihar assembly elections to be held next year, the Rashtriya Janata Dal started its membership campaign from Thursday. RJD supremo Lalu Prasad was the first to join the party in Delhi. Senior party leader and former minister Abdul Bari Siddiqui got Lalu Prasad enrolled as a member of the party. Many other leaders including former MPs of the party were present on this occasion. Here, former Deputy Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav got party leaders, MLAs, Legislative Councilors and others enrolled as members at the party office in Patna. Let us tell you here that today many leaders including Lalu, Tejashwi have renewed their party membership. These are only former members.

‘Work at the grassroots level’

While starting the campaign in Delhi, Lalu Prasad told the party leaders that every leader should work at the grassroots level to strengthen the party organization. He also raised questions on the law and order situation in Bihar and said that the law and order situation in Bihar has become very bad, against which we have to constantly draw the attention of the government.

Lalu targets Nitish

Condemning the incident of burning of Dalit colony in Nawada, Lalu said that no amount of condemnation of this incident will be enough. This injustice cannot be tolerated. Lalu Prasad said that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar did not handle the situation. In Patna, Tejaswi Yadav also condemned the Nawada incident in strong words and blamed Nitish Kumar as well as the Modi government at the Centre for this.
