Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray may be politically different, but they have decided to come together on the issue of Marathi language.Their parties will protest against the government of the government and the government for the fifth grade to the fifth grade.
The protest to be held on July 5 will bring Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) chief Uddhav Thackeray and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) President Raj Thackeray on one platform.
The two leaders, while addressing different press conferences at the same time on Thursday, said that they would strongly oppose the imposition of Hindi and Tri-Language Formula.
Uddhav had announced to attend the demonstration organized by some organizations at Azad Maidan on July 7, while his cousin Raj said that he would take out a non-political march from Girgaon Chowpatty on July 6 and invite leaders of all political parties including Shiv Sena (Ubatha).
Shiv Sena (Ubatha) leader Sanjay Raut told reporters on Friday that Raj has invited him to participate in the protest on July 6.
He said that Uddhav immediately agreed to join the demonstration, but he expressed concern that Ashada Ekadashi, which is celebrated with great pomp in the entire state, is on July 6, due to which this protest would be uncomfortable for all.
Raut said that the Shiv Sena (Ubatha) chief suggested a joint demonstration by both the party on July 5 and Raj agreed to it.
He said, “There will be a joint protest of MNS and Shiv Sena (Ubatha) on July 5. Only timely decisions are to be made because Raj Thackeray has suggested to perform at 10 am and it will be inconvenient for the people. ‘He said that both party would discuss the time of protest.
Discussion of possible reconciliation among the Thackeray brothers has been in full swing since the last few days and the language issue can prove to be a platform they need to come together.
Raut said that the two cousins believe that this time the fight for the formation of the state in 1960 during the Maharashtra movement should be a fight this time and the Thackeray family should lead it.
The Rajya Sabha member said, “Now similar attacks are happening to break Mumbai and get Marathi Manush out of Maharashtra.”He said that other political parties would also be invited to participate in the protests.
Sandeep Deshpande, president of the MNS Mumbai unit, said, “As a Marathi manus, I am happy that the way Raj Saheb led to Marathi Manush and Uddhav Saheb also gave a positive answer in the same way.”
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has clarified that Hindi will be an alternative language, while Marathi is mandatory.
