Bareilly, September 14 (IANS) Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has said that the Gyanvapi which some people call a mosque today, is Vishwanath ji. Politics has heated up in the country over this statement. Leaders of the Muslim community are reacting to this statement. Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi, national president of All India Muslim Jamaat, also reacted to this on Saturday.
He said that Gyanvapi is a historical mosque. It is several hundred years old. The dispute on it is pending in the court. Its cases are going on from the District Court to the Supreme Court. Lawyers of the Muslim and Hindu sides are debating on this. He said, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that it is unfortunate to call Gyanvapi a mosque, it is Vishwanath temple, this statement of his does not suit his tongue. Because he is sitting on a responsible chair, he is the Chief Minister of every person. Such a statement also violates the law.
Praising the Chief Minister, Maulana said that he has taken better steps in the matter of law and order. The Gyanvapi case is pending in the court, in such a situation, the process of law can be affected by this statement of the Chief Minister, so the Chief Minister should avoid religious rhetoric.
It is noteworthy that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while referring to an excerpt of the test taken by Lord Vishwanath during the meditation of Adi Shankara, who established spiritual seats in all four corners of the country, in Kashi, said that unfortunately, the Gyanvapi which some people call a mosque today, is Vishwanath ji himself.
The Chief Minister said that Gyanvapi is the incarnation of Vishwanath. The tradition of Indian sages and saints has always been a unifier. This tradition of saints has given importance to egalitarian and harmonious society since ancient times. Our saints and sages emphasize that physical untouchability is an obstacle to national unity and integrity along with spiritual practice. The Chief Minister said that if attention had been paid to removing untouchability, the country would never have been enslaved. The saint tradition never gave importance to untouchability and casteism in the society. This is also the tradition of Nathpanth. Nathpanth gave respect to every caste, sect, religion, region. Tried to unite everyone. On one hand, Nathpanth emphasized on spiritual upliftment through purification of the body, and on the other hand, made efforts to unite every section of the society.
