Nearly 6 days have passed since the incident but the accountability of any officer has not been decided yet. On Newstrack’s question about this, Akhilesh Yadav said that when the officers are busy in other works, how will they fulfill their responsibility. They only want to trouble. It is the responsibility of the authorities to check from time to time which building is dilapidated. He raised the question that what were the authorities doing due to which lives are being lost.

During this, Akhilesh said that we wish to make Ayodhya a ward class city and after two years when the government comes to power, we will make Ayodhya a world class city. In our government, no farmer’s land will be snatched. If necessary, compensation will be given by increasing the circle rate. At present, there is looting in the state, crime is at its peak. Last Saturday, a three-storey building collapsed after rain in Transport Nagar. 8 people died after being buried under the building while 28 people are undergoing treatment. After the incident, a joint team of various departments like NDRF, SDRF, Municipal Corporation, LDA, PAC etc. conducted an operation and rescued the people and also conducted a search operation for several hours. A committee was formed by the government to investigate the matter. Also, the PWD team also inspected the spot. At the same time, a sample of the debris has been sent to the team of IIT Kanpur.
