Lucknow News: Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav of the Samajwadi government has no answer in setting the standards of development in the capital Lucknow. Only then did I get the pleasure of riding the metro in Lucknow. Even under BJP rule, the metro runs to the same extent as it used to run during the Samajwadi government. Similarly, there is the riverfront of Lucknow which attracts the youth along with children and couples every day. These days there is even more excitement on this river front. The reason is the book fair organized by the National Book Trust, an organization of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Crowds of book lovers throng here. Stalls of various publications are set up in this book fair which will run from 9 to 17 November 2024. Besides, many programs also take place in it. These things have been said by spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary in the statement issued by Samajwadi Party. He has also raised questions on the intentions of the state government regarding the JPNIC building.
Rajendra Chaudhary reached the book fair, enumerated the works of SP
Yesterday, SP AK national spokesperson and former minister Rajendra Chaudhary also reached the book fair with his colleagues. Here he met the Chairman of National Book Trust, Prof. Milind is from Sudhakaran Maratha. Pro. Milind himself took him to his book stall. During this, Rajendra Chaudhary told him that the river front on which he was organizing the book fair was constructed by Akhilesh Yadav. Today it is the most beautiful corner of the city. Pro. Milind also appreciated this place and said that no other suitable place could be found for the book fair. He said that people know Akhilesh Yadav in other states also. They are popular there too.
BJP started defaming the riverfront
SP spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary said that the people of BJP must not have forgotten that Akhilesh Yadav has received praise everywhere for cleaning the Gomti River and constructing the riverfront. At the same time, the BJP government started defaming this riverfront as soon as it came to power in 2027. The BJP leadership started discussing the alleged scams in various statements. They also talked about investigation but till now nothing has come out of any investigation. That’s why it is said that lies have no legs.
Raised the issue of JPNIC, told its specialty
In a statement issued on Monday, SP said that the JPNIC, which is visible right in front of the fair organized on the riverfront, is a direct example of how the BJP ruins even good works with the spirit of revenge. Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan is counted among the personalities of the country. He emerged as the megastar of the 1975 fight for democracy. To cherish his legacy and to spread the socialist ideology to the masses, Akhilesh Yadav had built this magnificent building during his tenure as Chief Minister. SP told that JPNIC is the tallest building in the capital built on international standards. It has a large conference hall, 200 rooms, parking with a capacity of 1200, swimming pool, café facility along with a helipad on its roof where helicopters can land. Its specialty is also the Socialist Museum where the role of Loknayak in the freedom movement is displayed.
Building falling into ruins due to lack of attention to maintenance
SP has alleged that the BJP government has been keeping an eye on this grand site built in the memory of Lok Nayak since the beginning. Due to lack of attention to its maintenance, the building is falling into ruins and bushes have grown in the premises. SP spokesperson said that the ancestors of BJP had no connection with the freedom movement. That is why he is also irritated by the memory of Loknayak. A shameful example of this came to light when police force was demonstrated to stop the builder of this building, Akhilesh Yadav, from garlanding the statue of JP on 11 October 2023. Then Akhilesh Yadav crossed the gate and went inside and garlanded the statue of JP. People then remembered JP’s escape from Hazaribagh jail by jumping over the wall during the freedom movement. This year 2024, again the BJP government demonstrated its evil attitude and tried its best to stop Akhilesh Yadav from joining JPNIC.
