Lucknow News: On Tuesday, ‘Constitution Day’ was celebrated in all the districts of the state including the state headquarters of Samajwadi Party. In the state office, National Secretary Rajendra Chaudhary and State President Shyam Lal Pal read out the Preamble mentioned in the Constitution of India in front of the Pillar of Respect for the Constitution. Samajwadi Party also pledged to protect the basic objectives of the Constitution and maintain the dignity of the Constitution.
Constitution Honor Pillar installed in SP office on 26th July
National President of Samajwadi Party and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav had installed the Pillar of Respect for the Constitution at the party headquarters on Reservation Day on 26 July 2024. On the same day, Maharaja Chhatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj of Kolhapur implemented the reservation conceived by Mahatma Jyotiba Phule in his state on 26 July 1902, which proved to be a revolutionary step. He decided to give fifty percent reservation to backward caste people in government jobs. This was a decision which later paved the way for a constitutional system of reservation.
Constitution was passed on this day
Let it be known that on this day, on 26 November 1949, the Constituent Assembly passed the Constitution of India, which was formally adopted on 26 January 1950 under the democratic governance system. On Constitution Day, a resolution is taken to ensure the unity and integrity of the nation and the dignity of the individual. In his message on this occasion, National President of Samajwadi Party and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that the Constitution is the lifeblood. The biggest celebration is to follow the Constitution and follow the path shown by it. This is a duty to be performed every day with a true heart, not a showy annual function. On one hand BJP wants to ignore the Constitution and do arbitrariness, while on the other hand it wants to show off. This political duplicity of BJP is fatal for the country and its countrymen. When the situation regarding respect for the Constitution and its implementation is going from bad to worse, the Constitution is being insulted and insulted every day, celebrating in such a situation is against our principles. Celebration should not be a sham.
