Lucknow/Mahakumbh Nagar, 13 February (IANS). The Yogi government has made Mahakumbh-2025 unique, unforgettable and unprecedented. In this, a bath up to Magh Purnima has been completed. After this, there will be a ‘confluence’ of culture, environment and bird festival on the Triveni coast in Phalgun month. On one hand, cultural activities will start from Friday at Triveni, Saraswati and Yamuna pandals, while there will be a climate conference on 16 February.
A three -day bird festival will also be organized from this day itself. Cultural events started on Thursday at Ganga Pandal. The main pandal of Mahakumbh ‘Ganga’ will now have two-four listeners with the easy music of artists like Bollywood singers Kailash Kher, Mohit Chauhan, Kavita Seth, Navdeep Vadali.
After the Magh Purnima bath, in the Phalgun month, the listener will see the Indian culture in the beautiful evening. Cultural programs started at Ganga Pandal from Thursday, while programs will start from Friday at Triveni, Yamuna and Saraswati Pandal. Famous artists like Kailash Kher, Mohit Chauhan, Sucheta Bhide, Kavita Seth, Nitin Mukesh will also perform during the period of Mahakumbh. During this period, classical music, violin, tabla, flute playing, dhrupad singing, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathak, Odissi dance etc. will spread their talent in Mahakumbh.
Along with faith, Mahakumbh will also be important towards nature and environmental protection. On the instructions of CM Yogi, a special plan for eco -tourism has also been made for the devotees. There will also be an International Bird Festival from 16 to 18 February, including the Mahakumbh of birds of about 200 species. In this, the endangered Indian skimmers, flamingos and Siberian cranes etc. will be able to see it. Here, Siberian birds from more than a dozen countries including Siberia, Mongolia, Afghanistan will also be seen.
During the festival, there will be many competitions including photography, painting, slogan writing, debate, quiz, whose winners will also be rewarded. The International Bird Festival will be a unique mix of Indian culture, nature love and scientific approach.
There will also be a climate conference on ‘faith and climate change’ in Mahakumbh by the Department of Environment, Forest, Climate Change of UP. Its purpose is to deal with the challenges of climate change and to motivate them to improve climate. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will attend the conference. Along with this, religious leaders, environmentalists, many social organizations, industry and business world as well as dignitaries will participate.
