Maharashtra CM Oath Ceremony: Devendra Fadnavis took oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra on December 5. Fadnavis became the CM of Maharashtra for the third time. With this, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar took oath as Deputy Chief Ministers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and the NDA-ruled Chief Minister were also present during the swearing-in.
Extensive security arrangements were made at Azad Maidan, the swearing-in site. Security forces have been deployed at every corner so that any kind of mistake can be avoided. More than 4000 policemen were deployed at the venue. A large number of supporters attended the function.
