Maharashtra Election 2024: Political temperature has increased regarding Maharashtra Assembly elections. The deadline for filing nominations for the single-phase elections is just a day away. The affidavits filed by the candidates till October 25 are being thoroughly scrutinized. The richest candidate among the candidates in Maharashtra elections is Mangal Prabhat Lodha, who is contesting from Malabar Hill from Bharatiya Janata Party.
According to the affidavit of BJP candidate Mangalwar Lodha, he has total assets worth Rs 447 crore, whereas in 2019 his assets were Rs 441.65 crore, which means there is an increase of only 1.21 percent. His immovable assets are worth Rs 218 crore, while his movable assets are worth Rs 228 crore. At the same time, the name of Shiv Sena candidate Pratap Sarnaik is at second place, he is contesting from Ovala Majiwada seat, he has assets worth Rs 333.32 crore.
Whereas, the third candidate is Rahul Narvekar, he is contesting from Colaba seat on Bharatiya Janata Party ticket. He has total assets of Rs 129.80 crore. BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who is contesting from Nagpur South West for the sixth time.

8. BJP leader Ashish Shelar, who has assets worth Rs 40.47 crore, is contesting the Bandra West elections.
9. MNS leader Raju Patil is a candidate from Kalyan Rural, he has assets worth Rs 24.79 crore.
10. Shiv Sena-UBT leader Aditya Thackeray, who has assets worth Rs 23.43 crore, is contesting from Worli.
Elections will be held on 20th November
Elections for the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly are to be held on November 20, while the counting of votes will take place on November 23. Let us tell you that in the 2019 assembly elections, BJP won 105 seats, Shiv Sena won 56 seats and Congress won 44 seats. Earlier in the 2014 elections, BJP had won 122 seats, Shiv Sena had won 63 seats and Congress had won 42 seats.
