Home Minister Amit Shah had reached Hingoli, Maharashtra on November 15 for an election rally. As soon as Amit Shah’s helicopter reached there, election related officials immediately started a thorough investigation of the helicopter. During this, the Election Commission officials thoroughly examined each and every item kept in the helicopter.
Home Minister Amit Shah posted the video of the helicopter checking on Twitter and wrote, “Today during the election campaign in Hingoli Assembly of Maharashtra, my helicopter was checked by the Election Commission officials. BJP is committed to fair elections and healthy election system. We all believe in and follow all the rules made by the Honorable Election Commission. We all should contribute to a healthy election system and perform our duties in keeping India the strongest democracy in the world.”
Even before, helicopters of many leaders have been checked.
Before checking the helicopter of Home Minister Amit Shah, the helicopters of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Ajit Pawar, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and Union Minister Athawale have also been checked by Election Commission officials.

In fact, on November 11, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray’s bag was checked at Vani Airport in Yavatmal. Uddhav Thackeray had protested against the action of the Election Commission and said, “When last time PM Modi’s helicopter was searched, an officer was suspended in Odisha. If you checked my bag, then fine. Yes, but the bags of Modi and Shah should also be checked.”
Uddhav made a video of officers checking bags and shared it on social media. He said, “Check my bag, if you want then check my urine pot too, but now I want a video of you checking Modi’s bag also. Don’t bend your tail there. I am releasing this video. “
