Maharashtra government did not fulfill most of the promises in its budget: Sachin Ahir

Mumbai, March 11 (IANS). The Maharashtra government has presented the budget for FY 2025-26. Whether it is about giving employment to the youth or the promise to give Rs 2,100 to women or to reduce inflation, no announcement was made.”

On the praise of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj by Abu Azmi, he said, “He was asleep, but has now woken up. Do they know that they are doing this to avoid action? Or the government said that do this? If he comes to the House, we will oppose him.”

On the threat of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board spokesperson regarding the Waqf Amendment Bill 2024, Sachin Ahir said, “I think such statements are to be appeased.”

Maharashtra Finance Minister Ajit Pawar presented the budget for the year 2025-26 in the assembly on Monday. Maharashtra Finance Minister Ajit Pawar said that Maharashtra will be number one in fulfilling the Prime Minister’s dream of developed India by 2047. Maharashtra is number one in foreign direct investment. In Davos, Maharashtra signed an MoU of Rs 15.72 lakh crore with 56 companies, which will provide employment to 16 lakh people.

In this budget, a target has been set to construct 1,500 km long roads for FY 2025-26. Apart from this, the pottery being developed in Palghar district will be operational by the year 2030. It is proposed to construct a third airport for Mumbai near the Wadhavan port. Apart from this, a station of Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train will also be built near this port.
