Patna, August 29 (IANS). Opposition from politicians is being seen over the so-called controversial statement of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The Bengal CM had said that if Bengal burns, Assam, Jharkhand and Bihar will also be affected. On this, LJP (R) MP from Jamui Lok Sabha seat of Bihar, Shambhavi Chaudhary, while talking to IANS, said that who is Mamata Banerjee to speak about Bihar? She is not able to handle law and order in her state and she is commenting on Bihar. She should first look at her state. Bihar is moving forward on the path of development and will continue to move forward.
He said, we also raised our voice in the House that women are not feeling safe in the TMC ruled state. Nothing is being done for their safety. Despite this, instead of talking about this, she is talking about Bihar and UP. She should answer for her state, there is no need to worry about Bihar.
Earlier, Bihar BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal, while reacting to Mamta Banerjee’s so-called controversial statement, had challenged her to light a matchstick in Bihar.
Newly appointed BJP president Dilip Jaiswal had taken a dig at Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and said that these leaders have become morally degraded in order to run the vehicle of politics. When Article 370 was removed from Jammu and Kashmir, separatists, anti-nationals and some leaders of Kashmir had said that this would burn the whole country.
Now Mamata Banerjee is speaking the language of these people. Jaiswal said that no one will be able to burn Bihar. He warned that Mamata Banerjee should come to Bihar and light a matchstick.
Jaiswal had said that the incident that happened at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, the capital of Trinamool Congress-ruled West Bengal, is very horrific. Despite this, these people are not feeling ashamed.
The BJP leader had said that such an incident happened with a doctor who is considered God. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her supporters should answer why they are trying to save the criminal? When the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) started investigating the case on the orders of the High Court, then these people started feeling ashamed and action was taken. Therefore, it can be said that these people have suffered moral degradation.
