Manisha Kayande condemned the violence in Nagpur, said- Police engaged in investigation

Mumbai, March 18 (IANS). Shiv Sena leader Manisha Kayande has described the violence in Nagpur, Maharashtra as a serious incident. He says that someone spread rumors due to which this violence happened.

Talking to IANS in Mumbai, in response to the question of violence in Nagpur, he said that I strongly condemn this serious incident. Police is investigating who started it and who spread rumors. The incident is very dangerous and frightening. The rumor caused violence and heavy losses. People are scared. Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule has gone there. CM Devendra Fadnavis and Ministry of Home Affairs are monitoring it.

On the question of deliberately inciting a riot between two groups, someone said that it is not right to comment on it right now. We should wait for the primary report. The police is engaged in investigation. CM Devendra Fadnavis will soon give its details in both the House.

The agitation was carried out by VHP and Bajrang Dal on Monday, did it cause violence. In response to this question, Manisha Kayande said that it is not right to talk like this.

Please tell that curfew has been imposed in several police station areas after a violent clash between two groups in Nagpur late on Monday night. Officials gave this information on Tuesday. The areas where curfews have been imposed include Kotwali, Ganeshpeth, Lakdganj, Pachpavali, Shantinagar, Sakkardara, Nandanvan, Imamwara, Yashodhara Nagar and Kapil Nagar police stations.

Strict security arrangements have been made due to violence in the city. Meanwhile, CCTV footage of violence last night in the Mahal area has been revealed. Of these, different groups of 50 to 100 people are seen roaming in the streets. Also, they are targeting the vehicles present there.
