Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Wednesday criticized the Uttar Pradesh government for the recent police recruitment campaign and said that it is a regular process which was unnecessarily exaggerated.
Mayawati said in a post on ‘X’, it was publicized about the recent soldier recruitment in Uttar Pradesh, as if it is a new thing, while the police is a regular work, so that the evil of the backlog does not come in the police department. But whether the society got the right right in this recruitment and what about their training? This is common concern.
He said, ‘In my government of the BSP, the police recruitment was made honest by creating 1.20 lakh new posts to establish a lump sum of 1.20 lakh new posts in the state in my government, which the peace system benefited from all sections of the society without discrimination, which is now very lacking.
