Meerut News: The Aam Aadmi Party has intensified its activism in western Uttar Pradesh regarding the upcoming district panchayat elections in Uttar Pradesh. In this series, the party organized an ODI camp in Meerut on Wednesday. Addressing the workers, the party’s Uttar Pradesh in -charge and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that now the time has come that the Aam Aadmi Party took to the streets of UP regarding the basic problems of the public.
Sanjay Singh, while attacking the BJP directly, said, “The focal point of BJP politics is left only religion and polarization. Corruption and administrative atrocities in UP are at its peak, and that will now be the issue of our struggle.” He also said that the party will fight the panchayat elections with full force and will run a village campaign on issues of publicity.
Government is running on ‘Mexico Model’: Awadh Ojha
In the program, Aam Aadmi Party leader and educationist Awadh Ojha also attacked the BJP government. He alleged that “the current power system is running on the lines of ‘Mexico Model’, where a person has control over democratic institutions.” He openly discussed topics such as private school mafia, deteriorating government education system and attacks on freedom of press and urged the workers to play an active role towards educated and aware society building.
Social media will be made tool of public publicity
Former Delhi MLA Dilip Pandey and UP social media in -charge Vipin Pathak trained the workers on social media strategy.
He said that “local problems, whether electricity, water, road or school-hospital, raising them on social media is the hallmark of today’s political activism.”
Call for strategy and struggle of organization expansion
West UP in-charge Advocate Somendra Dhaka said that the focus of the party is on expansion as well as to create a strong movement on public issues.
“The Aam Aadmi Party will no longer sit silent against administrative injustice. People’s voice will be raised in every district.” This resolution camp was organized under the leadership of District President Ankush Chaudhary. Metropolitan president Ankit Giri, Arvind Balyan (Muzaffarnagar), Rakesh Awana (Noida), Omveer Sen (Baghpat), Nimrist Yadav (Bulandshahr), Shailendra Lodhi (Aligarh), Sanjeev Kaushik were present in the program.
