Milkipur by-election: Former Samajwadi Party MLA Pawan Pandey has demanded the Election Commission to cancel the election before the results of the Milkipur by -election. In a press conference, Pawan Pandey alleged that Gundai and rigging in this election and if there is any conscience of the Election Commission, then he should immediately cancel this election and conduct fair voting.
Pawan Pandey said, “What is the benefit of contesting elections, when you will not let votes vote? Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar has given the rights given in the Constitution, he is going to take away today.” He also alleged that the administration is working under the pressure of the BJP and the fair elections are not being allowed. He claimed that the Milkipur by -election would create history, where Samajwadi Party candidate Ajit Prasad will win, despite millions of Gundai and rigging. Pandey said that if the Jamir of the Election Commission is alive, then it should be canceled immediately.
Results will come tomorrow
The Milkipur by -election was held on 5 February and the results are to come on February 8, but before that the leaders of the Samajwadi Party have been constantly accusing the BJP. The SP says that the administration’s biased attitude in the election process and the pressure of the BJP is clearly visible. In this by -election, the SP has fielded Abidesh Prasad’s son Ajit Prasad, while Chandrabhanu Paswan has been nominated by BJP. Apart from this, Azad Samaj Party has given ticket to Suraj Chaudhary. In such a situation, this match is moving towards a tough competition between BJP and SP.
