Bareilly, September 21 (IANS) Cabinet Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar inspected the Unani Medical College in Bareilly on Saturday. During this, he paid attention to the facilities of the college and the quality of health services. Rajbhar said that the state government is committed to improving the health sector and is working towards promoting the Unani system of medicine.
The minister also discussed the benefits of 207 schemes being provided to the people of the state through Panchayat Secretariat and Panchayat Assistant. He said that these schemes are important for empowering rural development and strengthening local administration. The objective of these schemes is to simplify the access to services in gram panchayats, so that the pace of development in rural areas can be accelerated.
Rajbhar also held a review meeting at the Circuit House. In this, officials of various departments presented their progress reports. He instructed the officials to speed up the implementation of schemes and solve the problems of the rural people on time.
Talking to media persons after his programme, he said that the main purpose of my visit to Bareilly is the construction of Unani Medical College in the city. I have come here for its inspection. I want to know under what circumstances the work of the college has not been completed.
He said that there are 207 schemes in my Panchayati Raj Department including Panchayat Secretariat, Panchayat Assistant. Under this, people will get the benefit of all schemes including old age pension, disability pension, death certificate, Ayushman card, Aadhar card in the Panchayat Bhawan itself. People will not have to roam outside now.
Rajbhar said that if anyone is working in the entire country to fulfill Gandhiji’s unfulfilled dreams of cleanliness and development, then it is PM Narendra Modi. Currently, a 15-day scheme is going on in the entire state regarding cleanliness. Under that, our department has set up RRC centers in the villages and is collecting the garbage in that RRC center through e-rickshaws from the entire village and making compost.
He said that we are bringing a ‘Zero Poverty’ scheme. Under this scheme, 10 to 25 such families will be selected in every village, who have not received the benefit of any scheme after independence. An attempt will be made to raise those families above the poverty line by giving them the benefits of all the schemes together.
Talking about Samajwadi Party, Rajbhar said that the case in which Azam Khan is trapped is a case of SP’s rule. If Samajwadi Party was his well-wisher, then why was he trapped. If he had worked within the ambit of law at that time, then this situation would not have arisen today.
