Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut took a sarcasm at Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, saying that he is just a temporary system and no boss.
Speaking at a press conference, the Shiv Sena MP said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has reached the peak of power due to the top leaders like Advani, who worked for decades.
Talking to the media, Raut said, “Who is someone’s boss? Modi’s becoming Prime Minister is a temporary system. Even Lord Rama and Lord Krishna went away after completing their work. Advani was closed like Shah Jahan while Modi became Prime Minister.”
He further said, “Today’s BJP has reached the peak of power because of leaders like Advani, who worked for decades. Advani had a proper claim to become Prime Minister, but was sidelined like the acquisition of the Mughal style.”
He further claimed that the decision of the successor is not in the hands of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Raut said, “Devendra Fadnavis will not decide it. It is not in his hand.”
Raut also claimed that Narendra Modi should be retired as he would turn 75 in September and he himself implemented this rule in his party.
Raut said, “Modi will be 75 years old in September and he will have to retire as per the rule. Narendra Modi himself implemented a 75 -year rule in his party. This rule was also implemented to leaders like LK Advani and Murali Manohar Joshi.”
Speaking on the future syllabus of the RSS, the Shiv Sena MP said that the RSS is the original organization of the BJP and it will decide the future syllabus of the BJP. He also said that if the Chief Minister has to tell what the RSS means in politics, then he is a fake volunteer.
Raut said, “RSS is the ancestral organization of BJP. Senior (RSS) will decide the direction of the future. If Fadnavis needs to tell what RSS means in politics, he is a fake RSS volunteer. BJP president’s term has ended, but he has not yet appointed a new president. The RSS is a significant role in this case.”
Speaking on the Waqf Amendment Bill, Raut said that NDA’s ally Chandrababu Naidu, Nitish Kumar and Apna Dal should clarify their stand on this bill and then questions should be asked from others.
He said, “First, NDA colleagues like Chandrababu Naidu, Nitish Kumar and Apna Dal should decide their stand. Then they should ask others.”
