: MUDA Scam Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s troubles have increased after he got a setback from the Karnataka High Court in the land scam case related to Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA). The High Court has rejected Siddaramaiah’s petition filed against the approval of investigation by Governor Thawarchand Gehlot in this case. After this decision of the High Court, the way for investigation against Siddaramaiah has now been opened.
After the setback from the High Court, Siddaramaiah’s chair as Chief Minister is also in danger. BJP leaders have opened a front against Siddaramaiah and have demanded that he step down immediately. The party has said that now Siddaramaiah has no moral right to remain on the post of Chief Minister. On the other hand, Congress has come to defend Siddaramaiah. State Deputy CM DK Shivakumar said that a political conspiracy has been hatched by the BJP against Siddaramaiah.
