Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the ‘Mudra Yojana beneficiaries’ at his residence on Tuesday and said that this scheme is a “eye -opening” scheme for any government.
Talking to the beneficiaries, Prime Minister Modi said, “I thank all of you for coming to my residence. Our scriptures say that when guests come to the house, the house becomes holy, so I welcome you all.”
PM Modi said that 33 lakh crore rupees have been given to the people of the country without any guarantee.
He said, “You read in the newspaper that this is a government of rich people. Even if you add all the rich, they will not get 33 lakh rupees. 33 lakh crore rupees have been given to the general human beings of the country … The youth of India today, the skills they have, if they get some help, get very big results. These currency schemes are the most women for any government.
The Prime Minister said that the Mudra Yojana is not for “praise of Modi”. He said, “This plan is to give courage to the youth of my country to stand on their feet.”
PM Modi said that one of all these beneficiaries has provided employment to one, someone two, and some have provided employment to 40-50 people.
The Prime Minister said, “This vast work of providing employment gives impetus to the economy. The highest number of women have come forward in the Mudra Yojana. Women have applied for the most loans, have received the most loans and are also the fastest in repaying them.”
During the conversation, the beneficiaries told how this scheme has brought changes in their lives.
During the conversation, an entrepreneur from Kerala, who was working in the United Arab Emirates, explained how he benefited from the Mudra Yojana, he said, “This has made him a successful entrepreneur.”
The Prime Minister asked him if his mother was upset with his return to India, to which the entrepreneur said “In the end everything went well.”
A beneficiary from Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh said, “We promise you that we will all make India a developed India. Now we have no problem in getting a license from the government … I run a bakery. My monthly turnover is 2.5 to 3 lakh rupees and we have a staff of 7 to 8 people.”
Sharing his experience, Lavkush Mehra, the beneficiary of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, said that he started his business in 2021 and today he is earning 50 lakh rupees.
Mehra said, “Earlier I used to work for someone, a servant, but you have guaranteed us through Mudra loan and we have become the owner today. I started my business in 2021 and I contacted the bank, they gave me a loan limit of Rs 5 lakh. I was afraid that I was taking such a big debt for the first time and I will be able to repay it or not. Today my loan has increased from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 9.5 lakh. And today my loan has increased from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 9.5 lakh. Was, which is now more than 50 lakh rupees. “
Responding to Lavkush Mehra, PM Modi said that the Mudra scheme is not for “praise of Modi”. The Prime Minister said, “This scheme is to give courage to the youth of my country to stand on their feet.”
A 21 -year -old beneficiary from Bhavnagar, Gujarat, who is in the final year of graduation, shared his experience, stating that he runs a tech lab in Gujarat.
He said, “I am the founder of Aditya Tech Lab, in which I do 3D printing, reverse engineering and rapid prototyping and also know a little robotics because I am a final year student of Macatronic. I have taken a 2 lakh rupees currency loan and I go to college from Monday to Friday and then I do my work in Bhavnagar in the week.
The Prime Minister said that 33 lakh crore rupees have been given to the people of the country without any guarantee. He said, “I want the youth of my country to enter this area in large numbers. Under the Mudra Yojana, the people of the country have been given Rs 33 lakh crore without any guarantee.”

Prime Minister Modi said in a post on X that the Mudra Yojana has given countless people an opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurship skills. He posted a video while talking to the beneficiaries at his residence in the national capital, in which he said, “Talk to some beneficiaries of the scheme. His visit is inspiring.”
Today, 10 years of Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) are being completed in India. PMMY is a major program of the Prime Minister, which aims to fund micro enterprises and small businesses not funded. By removing the burden of the collateral and simplifying the access, the currency laid the foundation of a new era of entrepreneurship at the ground level.
Since its introduction in April 2015, the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana has approved more than 52 crore loans worth Rs 32.61 lakh crore, which has boosted the nationwide entrepreneurship revolution.
