Lucknow, October 10 (IANS). Today is the second death anniversary of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav. State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has sent a humble tribute remembering Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Chief Minister Yogi wrote on social media platform Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya paid humble tribute to Samajwadi Party founder and senior politician and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mulayam Singh Yadav on his death anniversary.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak also remembered senior politician and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mulayam Singh Yadav and paid humble tribute to him on his death anniversary.
SP founder Mulayam Singh Yadav died on 10 October 2022 during treatment at Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon.
Mulayam Singh Yadav has served the country as the Defense Minister of India. He was also the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. 13 people of Mulayam family are in active politics. Five members from the Mulayam family have reached Lok Sabha and one from Rajya Sabha. A total of 13 people are doing politics.
Today BJP is in a strong position after Congress. It is at third place in the Lok Sabha in terms of number of MPs. The flag of SP is flying high as the main opposition party in the state also. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections also, under the leadership of Akhilesh Yadav, the party achieved a big victory and 37 SP MPs reached the House.
