UP Politics: Before the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections to be held in 2027, the stir in state politics has intensified. This time a new twist in the election match came when Azad Samaj Party President and MP from Nagina Chandrashekhar Azad directly targeted Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati. At the enlightened class conference held in Jhansi, Chandrashekhar not only put the BSP in the dock but also attacked the BJP.
Chandrashekhar’s claim increased on Bahujan vote bank
About 20-22 percent of Scheduled Caste voters play a decisive role in Uttar Pradesh politics. Till now this vote bank has been believed to be in the BSP’s court, but Chandrashekhar Azad has come out openly to do it in his favor. He has started presenting himself as the new representative of Bahujan Samaj, just as Kanshi Ram shaped Bahujan politics in the 1980s.
Direct attack on Mayawati
Chandrashekhar said in clear terms at the conference, Bahujan society no longer believes in Mayawati. He is looking for a new leadership, who fought honestly for his rights. He alleged that the BSP under the leadership of Mayawati has been constantly weakened and Bahujan interests have been neglected. This statement of Chandrasekhar is considered to be a sign of a major change in BSP politics.
Did not leave BJP either
Chandrashekhar also made a sharp comment on the BJP, saying that the policies of the party have always been to keep the deprived sections behind. He said, BJP does not want to see Bahujan society rising up. His strategy has been that the weaker sections of the society be suppressed.
Josh showed in the conference, stir in BSP camp
A large number of supporters gathered at the enlightened class conference of Jhansi. It is being told that many old workers associated with BSP also participated in it, which has increased restlessness in the BSP camp. Chandrashekhar was strongly welcomed as soon as he climbed the stage, indicating that his popularity is increasing rapidly among Dalit youth.
BSP’s response: ‘Barsati frog’ told Chandrashekhar
Although no statement came from the BSP about this conference, a few days ago, Mayawati indirectly launched Chandrashekhar and called her a “rainy frog”. He also alleged that leaders like Chandrashekhar act at the behest of the opposing parties and mislead the Bahujan society.
Political strength increased due to 2024 victory
Chandrashekhar Azad’s political situation has strengthened after the victory from Nagina seat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Especially their popularity has gained momentum among Dalit youth. His politics and aggressive attitude have established him as an effective Dalit leader.
Preparation and strategy of 2027 clear
Chandrashekhar has made it clear that his party will fight with strength in all seats in the UP elections of 2027 and will not aligned with any big political party. He said, we will fight every battle from panchayat to assembly and will bring Bahujan society to power.
In Uttar Pradesh politics, the war with the Bahujan vote bank has intensified. Chandrashekhar Azad is now directly challenging Mayawati and presenting himself a new leadership of Bahujan society. In the coming months, this conflict can take a significant turn in state politics.
