NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar demands Dhananjay Munde to be accused, objected to Abu Azmi's remarks

Mumbai, March 4 (IANS). NCP’s Ajit Pawar faction MLA and Minister Dhananjay Munde has resigned in the sarpanch murder case in Beed, Maharashtra. NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar demanded that Dhananjay Munde be accused in the case.

Rohit Pawar said that Dhananjay Munde’s name is associated in the murder case, as there was a meeting on the ransom before the case. The meeting was held at Dhananjay Munde’s house. Pawar said that Dhananjay Munde was also involved in that meeting and the link to the murder case can be clearly seen from that ransom case. His demand on the issue is that Dhananjay Munde should be made co-accused in the murder case of Santosh Deshmukh.

Rohit Pawar also said that in a civil case, as Rahul Gandhi’s membership was over, it is okay to resign Munde in this criminal case. He also said that after seeing the pictures of barbarism, people have got angry and tears in their hearts. In this case, he hoped from the government that action would be taken as soon as possible.

After this, Rohit Pawar said on Abu Azmi’s statement that whoever will glory Aurangzeb in Maharashtra is against him. He said that the government has strength that it can suspend them. Rohit Pawar alleges that the minister and the people in power are not sensitive, he had seen pictures of Santosh Deshmukh’s murder earlier but he did not get angry at that time. He questioned that if the pictures were already with him, then why was action not taken?

He also said that if Abu Azmi has glory Aurangzeb, then strict action should be taken against him. No positive comments about Aurangzeb will be tolerated in Maharashtra.
